I've lived in this flat in Holland Park, west London with my partner, Harry, for five years.
I grew up in the area.
This is an "everything" room. We hold a lot of dinner parties here and play cards (Oh Hell - a simplified version of Bridge - is one of our favourites) It's also a bit of a warehouse for art - mine and other people's.
I'm ferociouslv impatient, so like to change furniture around. Some items. such as the ceramic pedestal. are very precious: others, such as the 50p teapot from Golborne Road on the table, are easy come. easy go. 'Thematic room design is a bit too obvious; and yet, eclectic is such a cliché. I'm trying to find a compromise.
